Discipline Code

Codes of Conduct have been prepared for everybody associated with Aintree Vipers FC whether as Players, Officials, Coaches or Supporters. Failure to comply with the codes of conduct will result in disciplinary action in accordance with the disciplinary process.  Through our Codes of Conduct, Discipline Code, Constitution and Rules, The Club has a clear and comprehensive disciplinary process.  This process is directly linked to all policies, procedures and codes of the Club.

All Managers, Coaches, Players and Parents should read the Codes of Conduct and sign to indicate they have done and are therefore aware of the behaviour that is expected of them.  Ignorance is no excuse!

Any person found to have broken the club's policies or Codes of Conduct will be dealt with in accordance with the discipline procedure.

All matters relating to discipline will be dealt with by the Management Committee.

The Club's Management Committee will have the power to warn an individual as to their future conduct and suspend or remove them from membership of the club.

The Committee may appoint such sub-committees as are necessary to deal with the issue of discipline where a Manager, Coach, Player or Parent  behaves in an unacceptable manner, both on or off the pitch or socially. The Sub-committee shall investigate incidents, hear the views of interested parties and recommend to the Management Committee what action should be taken against offending persons. It is then the responsibility of the Management Committee to endorse and enforce the decision.

The Secretary will give seven days notice to all parties concerned in the potential disciplinary action, of the intention of a disciplinary sub-committee to form and consider the case. Evidence for such a disciplinary hearing shall then be forwarded in writing to the Club Secretary.

If a member of the Committee has a conflict of interest in the situation being discussed, then they shall excuse themselves from the procedure.
