SPARQ is an a training initiative developed in the USA and now being introduced in the UK.
Everton FC have introduced SPARQ Training at their Acadamy and decided to offer the training to grass roots teams.
While our Coaches had a lesson in how to use SPARQ themselves during training sessions, the lads were being put through the exercises using the state of the art training facilities at the acadamy.
SPARQ stands for Speed - Power - Agility - Reaction & Quickness
SPARQ was started in 2004 to create a standardised test for athleticism called the SPARQ Rating which can then be used by high school students to focus on training methods needed to help improve performance.
SPARQ is promoted by NIKE

Thank You to everyone at Everton Acadamy.
IMPORTANT
If a player is 'booked' during a match the Referee notifies the County FA.
The County FA will then send the Club a letter confirming that the player was booked and that they must pay a fine.
It is the Player NOT the Team who is responsible for paying the fine.
The Fines are £25 + £8 administration fee - so a booking will cost £33 - and a player is 'blacklisted' from playing all league football until they have paid fines !
Please make sure that you wear the correct kit
black and white Adidas shorts and socks.
KIT ITEMS ARE ONLY TO BE WORN FOR TEAM ACTIVITIES & NOT FOR SCHOOL OR OTHER ACTIVITIES.
