MATTERS ARISING FROM THE AGM
__1__.jpg)
It was decided at the The AGM that the club needs to have a fundraising Committee to organise fundraising events and to pursue registering the Club as a Registered Charity.
We really need a group of people to join this important committee. Can anyone willing to help please contact the club secretary as soon as possible.
Aintree Vipers would like to Thank Libby Orr
for allowing us to use the Village Inn for our meeting and for her continued support of the club.
FA LEARNING ONLINE
SOCCER PARENT
Soccer Parent is designed with coaches and parents in mind, to provide guidance and focus on the specific areas and key issues involved when a child joins a football team.
As well as being designed to be informative, fun and engaging, one of the key aspects of the course is that advice is given to assist in gaining positive contributions from parents as well as understanding issues on specific areas such as child welfare and attitudes.
Soccer Parent is a completely free online course that is available to anybody that registers with FA Learning – The FA’s Educational Provider. Everyone that completes the course and achieves the pass mark can immediately print off an accredited certificate directly from the website.
The club would encourage all parents to register and take this course as it hopefully will help everyone have an understanding of junior football and it is something that the FA are encouraging people to undertake.
Please follow the link below -
http://www.thefa.com/GrassrootsNew/FALearning/SoccerParent
Once you have taken the course please print off the certificate and pass a copy to the club so that we are aware of parents who have participated.
We all know kids love football, but did you know they’re just as keen on Footee?!
Thousands of children across the country are playing BAFTA-winning Footee at http://footee.thefa.com/ - a fabulous free site where kids aged 7-11 can improve their Maths, English and Science through over 250 fantastic football-based games. But that’s not all...
By playing the games, you can earn footballs and use them to buy players like Rooney or Gerrard for a Fantasy Footee team.
You can enter the team in leagues and cups against other teams and hope for title glory! The thing is, to get better players to increase the chance of glory, you need more balls and to get more balls you need to play more games and the games help with schoolwork – genius? You soon will be!

NOT ADULTS YET!!
They stand on the field,
Their hearts beating fast
The whistle has blown,
The die has been cast.
Mum and Dad can't help,
They stand all alone,
A goal at this moment
They'll be losers going home.
The ball nears their feet
They kick and it misses;
There's a moan from the crowd,
Some boos and some hisses.
A thoughtless voice shouts
'Take off the bum'
Tears fill their eyes,
It's no longer fun.
If you're ever tempted
To shout or to moan
Remember, it's a youngster
Who stands there alone.
So open your heart
And give them a break,
It's moments like this
A player you make.
Keep this in mind
When others forget
They're only young players,
THEY'RE NOT ADULTS YET!!
